Description

Bear is an 11 week old Golden Retriever. He has been raised with his 8 litter mates in our home with his mum and grandma! Mum and Dad are KC registered and fully health checked, and all the puppies are KC registered. Bear is a complete sweetheart. He has a very calm nature and is very loving. He is getting on really well with his toilet training too! Bear's left front leg has not grown in line with the right one, and there is a slight length difference. He has had X-rays and been seen by the orpthopaedic vet at our local hospital. He is not in any pain, and has been bouncing around with his siblings while they have been growing up together. It does not affect his movement and he enjoys tearing around the garden! The growth plates are still open, so his leg will continue to grow as he gets older. He may have to adapt to having slightly different front leg lengths, but should have a full and happy life! There is a possibility that he will not want to run around as much, or be as fast as other adult Goldens when he is older, but this isn't certain. We are looking for a special home for our special boy! Ideally he would be best suited to an environment with no other dogs or children to reduce the risk of him getting too excited or injuring himself in any rough and tumble. We have the x-ray pictures and the vet report to share with any potential owners. Because of the above, we are willing to offer Bear at a reduced cost to the right home. We are happy to answer any questions, and would be keen for potential owners to meet us, and Bear before any commitment is made.
