Meet Freya, she’s a Red Fox Lab X Rottweiler coming up 14 months old but acts more like 3 months. I’ve been told that Red Fox Labradors are sometimes puppies until they’re 3 years. While it’s nice to know that she will eventually grow out of this puppy phase it doesn’t make life easy right now.
She’s extremely friendly, so friendly in fact that she feels the need to jump up and around everyone she meets. Problem is she’s getting quite a handful and l’m having trouble handling her. She’s young and strong and while not exactly weak I’m fairly ancient so it’s not the ideal combination.
I’m looking for a more suitable home for her, somewhere she can be given all the things she clearly needs which l feel unable to provide. Ideally a younger owner with time, patience and love. She’s used to a very rural life but I feel that if there was more to see, more of things going on it would de-stimulate her interest and make her less reactive. As it is when she meets another person/dog/whatever it’s so unusual it makes her day!
Please message me if you think you could provide the home I think she deserves and would prosper in. I think at some point she will become a wonderful dog in the right situation. I’m in North Wales.
