With a heavy heart I am advertising my rabbits for new homes. I have tried contacting various rescues over the summer and have not been successful in finding help. They are approximately years old and neutered however their vaccinations are overdue and I am not in a position to sort this right now due to finance and lack of transport. They need separate homes as attempts to bond them have failed. They are currently living in a split hutch which will not survive the winter and the rain cover just disintegrated over the summer. There was plans to build new housing and a large run however the housing leaked and my ex husband didn't get any further with it before he moved out a few months ago, I sadly do not have the skill or money to continue with those plans. Please only contact me if you can give one of them the best home. They are not easy pets, they require cleaning, fresh food and water each day. They do not like to be picked up, they need a large run of at least 2m x 3m and secure fencing. They are at risk in their current situation and I do not want them to go somewhere that is equally bad for them or worse. The black one is called Ivar and quite lively, we had issues with him nipping and fur pulling when we tried bonding them. The brown is called Bjorn and more chilled, I am struggling with him refusing to eat hay, I tried various brands and toppers so I give him fibafirst sticks each day.
