This is an incredibly difficult post for us to write, but unfortunately, through absolutely no fault of her own, we have made the heartbreaking decision to find Cove a new home. Cove is our gorgeous 15-week-old Border Collie girl. Unfortunately, despite giving everyone time to settle and adjust, our other dogs just haven’t warmed to having her in the home. It isn’t fair for Cove or our other dogs to continue in a situation where everyone isn’t completely happy and comfortable, so we feel finding her the right home is the kindest decision for everyone. Cove herself is a lovely, happy little girl. She is good with other dogs, cats and children and has such a sweet personality. 15 weeks old KC registered Microchipped Crate trained Almost fully toilet trained Good with dogs, cats & children Currently restarting her vaccinations We haven’t started lead walking yet because she has had to restart her vaccination course, so this will be something for her new family to introduce once she’s able to safely get out and about. We absolutely will not let her go to just anyone. Finding the right, loving and permanent home for Cove is far more important to us than finding one quickly. We’d love her to go to someone who understands Border Collies and the time, training, exercise and stimulation they need as they grow. This genuinely isn’t a decision we’ve made lightly. Cove deserves a home where she can completely settle, be loved and become part of the family for life.
