I am sadly selling my beautiful blue female ringneck parrot Bluey who has been with me for less than a year. The reason being as my first ringneck parrot Bug doesn’t get along with her and is very aggressive towards her. I feel it is unfair on her despite her being a very calm and social parrot. She is very healthy. She isn’t tamed but she will eat from your hand. She was bred in a house and has never been outside. I took her outside on a road trip and she enjoyed it. She is very curious and learns quick. She loves her toys and will require toys as she is very energetic. She is also vocal and does make some very cute sounds like “meow”. It is heartbreaking for me to send her off and I am only willing to give her to someone with experience. She will associate your hand with treats so do not trick her as I have taught her to take things from my hand regardless of its unfamiliarity. She loves wooden blocks I will include some of her toys to keep her comfortable. Her diet consist of Hari tropican pallets and I add boiling water to the pot, leave it to set for a minute before i drain the remaining water and then leave to cool then serve it to her. She only eats her pallets if they are soft and easy to chew. She loves apples i do chop them up into bite sized pieces and add a few to her feeding pot with her meal. She loves grapes and all kinds of fruit she is willing to try and enjoy. I have tried pomegranate and she loves that too. Fruit should only be 40% of her diet, she needs pallets as her main diet. Clean water must be changed 3-4 times a day. Any further enquires feel free to ask me Thank you💙
