Description
4 year old (unsure of exact birthday but it’s first week of September 2021) spayed female French Bulldog, Boo, in need of a new loving home. Unfortunately due to a change in housing circumstances I am no longer able to look after this beautiful little girl.
Boo came to me from a family in Wales, she is KC registered but I don’t have access to the registration. She is super playful and has so much love to give. She loves to cuddle up next to you, and likes to sleep in the bed with you (she is crate trained for night time as well although she’ll test your boundaries with this at first). She is a proper little Velcro dog, likes to go out and about with you and doesn’t like to be left alone for long. She’s good in the car, she’s been on the bus before as well, and likes to go to cafes and shops with you.
Boo is good with other dogs, albeit she can be a bit bossy, and loves to play chase, fetch after the ball and play tug. She’s good with children but not with cats or small pets such as hamsters. She is very excitable and we have been working on her not jumping up at people but this is still a work in progress so any children would need to be confident with dogs.
She knows the commands: sit, wait, paw (although reluctantly), bring/bring it (like fetch), down (to get off of chairs/bed), leave/leave it, and her recall is very good. Boo does have some lead reactivity, mostly toward men and bikes. This has been slowly improving but is something to be aware of. For the most part her health has been very good (minus her running into a bench leg and having to have a tooth removed because it broke), and as with all French Bulldogs she can have laboured breathing when she’s exerted herself too much running around. She should go to a home that has a garden so that she has easy access to toileting as she will not hold it for more than about 4 hours (although I know she can).
I am looking for somebody that would be happy for me to come and visit you with Boo first to meet you, and will be willing to keep in contact with me so that I can see how Boo is doing in her new home, and potentially come to visit or take her for walks sometimes when I’m off work.
I don’t want to charge for Boo herself as I’d rather she go to a good home. I will however provide you with everything you should need for her to settle in, as such a financial contribution toward these items would be much appreciated if you need them.
