Description
For rehoming my ackie monitor (Varanus acanthurus) with full setup, ready to go.
He is:
- hand tame and timid, handleable and always curious, happy to free
-roam in the house
- very handsome- verified male- around 3 years old
- very active and healthy
- eats well: dubia roaches, crickets, locusts, pinky mice
- as you see from the last photo he's an absolute bulldozer -- he reorganises his enclosure within a few weeks of you setting it up real nice, so don't get too attached to decor
The enclosure is:
- on the last photo, comes in 2 parts (viv + cabinet)
- 4x2x2 feet -- that is around 120x60x60cm
- has a cabinet that is the same dimensions (so total space you need is 4x2x4 feet)
- I believe it's Vivexotic brand -- looks like the ReptiHome models -- but not sure
- fully set up for him, including clay + sand + soil mix for burrows he loves (has to be re-wetted and compacted again for him)
- heat lamp set up
- UVB set up
- basking rocks set up
- clutter and one hiding cricket includedSelling because I need the room for a project.
I'll be sad to see him gone.
The viv is big and heavy with the things inside, so you absolutely need a big guy. I can help but I can't lift it alone. You'll need a van or a massive car.
