He would make a fantastic flock protector against foxes for an expansive yard or land.He has recently moved into our coop at night and sleeps reliably with the flock, meaning he is easy to handle and secure once he has gone to roost.🛑 Important Adoption Requirements:Location: His new home must be located at least 5 to 10 miles away from Crickhowell. Because of a rooster’s strong homing instinct, moving him closer means he will likely try to wander back to his old territory.Lockdown: You must have a secure, fully enclosed coop or covered run where he can be safely kept in "lockdown" for 3 to 4 weeks before being allowed to free-range. This teaches his internal compass where his new safe home base and food source are.Flock: He needs to go to a home where he will have his own flock of hens to watch over and protect.Collection only.
