Big Baron 🇬🇧GLASGOW🇬🇧 🐾 Meet Baron. I'm 8 years old, around 30kg, and I'm looking for a very special person who understands that sometimes, the dogs who need us most are the ones who need a little extra help. 💚 I'm a handsome, athletic German Shepherd cross with plenty of energy for walks, exploring and putting my nose to work. I enjoy getting outdoors, having a good sniff and playing games like “go find”. I've been enjoying walks alongside other dogs, and I'm making progress as I settle into life in the UK. But I need you to understand something important about me. I've spent a long time in a shelter, and adjusting to home life has been challenging. I'm still learning that the world around me can be safe. I can be reactive towards unfamiliar people and dogs, and there have been incidents involving lunging and snapping. I need an experienced, patient person who takes these behaviours seriously. 🏡 MY IDEAL MATCH? Someone who: 🐾 Understands reactive dogs and won't expect instant progress. 🐾 Can provide careful management, safe boundaries and a structured routine. 🐾 Is committed to kind, consistent training and building trust. 🐾 Will put everyone's safety first while helping me learn new ways to cope. I'm currently being fostered in Glasgow, where my foster family is working hard to help me settle. My compatibility with other dogs and cats cannot be assumed, and any future home will need careful assessment. I'm not a dog for everyone, and that's okay.
