💔 This poor boy hasn't had an easy life. Right now, Max finds himself sitting in kennels in Jedburgh, waiting for someone to give him the chance he's never truly had. Every day he spends behind kennel doors is another day without the love, stability and security he deserves. We cannot let kennels become his forever. 🐾 Meet Max – a 6-year-old boy with so much potential. Max is a loving, affectionate dog once he trusts you, but building that trust takes time. He can be nervous around new people and may lunge when he's feeling unsure, so he needs someone who understands that patience and kindness can make all the difference. The kennel staff have been working hard with Max every day, and they are already seeing positive improvements. He is particularly warming to the women caring for him and has also been meeting men at the kennels, where he has been doing well. Max isn't comfortable around other dogs, so he is looking for a home where he can be the only pet. 🏡 We're looking for someone who can offer: ❤️ A calm, adult-only home. ❤️ Time, patience and dog experience. ❤️ A quiet environment where Max can settle at his own pace. ❤️ A foster home or a foster with a view to adopting. We know the right person is out there. Someone who understands that rescue dogs don't need to be perfect—they just need someone willing to believe in them.
