Description

Sale of frozen semen, imported from Holland. No longer required as we have retired/stopped breeding dogs. Frozen semen currently stored at Elite Kennel Fertility in Whitchurch but can be moved to a clinic closer to yourself (at cost). Excellent opportunity to purchase quality frozen semen (importing is a hassle and very expensive, particularly now we have left the EU). Semen was collected and frozen on 25th October 2021 when the stud dog was 4 years and 1 month old, and can remain frozen until needed. There is no expiry date. The frozen semen is for a dog that resides abroad but has already successfully sired two litters via TCI (trans-cervical insemination) in the U.K., both of which are registered with The Kennel Club, so he is proven and very fertile. One litter produced three puppies and the other produced seven. The pedigree name of the dog is: ‘Elorah Sapphire Lad’. He is a short haired White Swiss Shepherd Dog, when put to another short haired female the entire litter would be short haired, when put to a long haired female you would expect to see around 50% short hair and 50% long hair. There are not many short haired Swiss Shepherd Dogs in this Country. He is Embark dna tested and genetically clear for all that they test for including MDR1, DM and Haemophilia. Hips scored A (European scoring system, this is the best score you can achieve) and elbow 0/0 (again, the best score possible). Full health results and info can be provided. Lad has a very low genetic coefficient of inbreeding for the Swiss Shepherd Dog and is from lines not usually seen / used in the breed. He would be an asset to any breeding programme to increase genetic diversity and hybrid vigour. He is already registered on The Kennel Club’s system so it would be a very easy process to register the litter. You would just need to complete their form to declare that they were conceived via TCI by a registered vet. For further information please contact me. It is a very easy process to transfer ownership of the semen from my name into yours, so you can then use it at any point in the future. Thank you.
