Description

Bonnie is a 3 year old Belgian Malinois/Lurcher crossbreed who is needing a new home. Unfortunately since a baby has arrived into her home she has taken to randomly attacking the other resident dog.💔 The family have had Bonnie from being a pup, not really understanding the Mali part of her breed- the pattern of protection that can be hardwired. In a desperate attempt they have tried to rehome her but had no interest, arriving at the vets to euthanise her. The vets know this girl and refused to put her to sleep with an attempt to rehome her they have reached out to our rescue. 💔 This girl is a lovely, friendly girl with all people. She has boarded at our neighbouring kennels with no issues, she deserves an attempt to rehome. So we are looking for a family (can have children) over 8-10 yr old, dog savvy supervised children. Ideally no other pets. An advantage of knowing this breed and understanding their breed traits, a commitment to train and take charge of this girls future.🐾❤️ She has been assessed by our trainer who has written her report as a lively friendly dog, zero engagement, heel walking needs work as she's not listening to her current handler. Ideally we would prefer her to stay local to our kennels so she can continue working with our preferred trainer. ❤️🐾 This girl needs to find a new home and will flourish in the right hands .❤️🐾 She is fully house trained and the family are now understanding home management and starting to put the new rules in but do not feel confident enough to continue her staying in the home.❤️🐾
