Description
This here is our Gus puppy. Hes a big big boy, we love him so so much. We have a 7 year old english bulldog, she is really quite old. When we got him he was smaller than her and they were best mates but shes recently getting really quite aggy towards him and is getting nasty now and we dont want it to go to far, hes yet to tell her to leave him alone but when he does i dont want either of them to get hurt. Hes such a lovely soppy boy he wants to say hi and have cuddles from everyone he meets and loves playing with other dogs big and small. He doesnt walk very well on a lead when ive got the pram but is OK when its jsut me and him, he is great off lead and his recall is great provided you call him before he gets too far away or towards what he was heading for. We were told his dad was a cane corso akita and that his mum was a mastiff cross they were an accidental litter however we have suspicions hes much more mixed as we can see a fair amount of malinois and dane characteristics and behaviours. Hes been raised around kids from 8 years to 12 months (however our baby was only 3 months old when we got him). He is a very gentle giant and loves the bath, he will go and lay in the bath and bark for you to turn it on! He does get a bit of separation anxiety to me but we have been trying to work on it. He will not go to just anyone and the price is to ensure he doesnt go to some idiot as he is a very big powerful boy and some may see that and think yes guard dog or whatever but you couldn't be further from the truth but the price is negotiable we jsut want the right home for him . If anyone broke into our house he would cry and run away or lick them to death once he knows they wont hurt him! Itd be our bulldog theyd need to worry about! Although he looks big and has a bark he never ever barks not even for the post man, hes the most soppy giant lap dog you could ever meet and I will not sell him to anyone who I believe will use him or train him to be something hes not. If our home was big enough to keep them apart and to build something secure for him until our old gal eventually passes i would but sadly its not big enough and it could be a year it could be 3 til she goes and its just not fair on either of them with how it is right now. He will need to go to someone with kids that understand his size and how to respect animals as he can pin me down when he lays on my lap I struggle to get up and im a big grown man but he does think hes a chihuahua or cat and is designed and deserving for big cuddles at all times. He can not be left. He has severe separation anxiety and has chewed through crates and a door. Our vet and the trainer wanted to drug him with prozac we declined as hes so young. He needs a home where he has a job or will be out with someone all the time.
