Description
🚜🐶 AGRICULTURAL MIDDLE MANAGEMENT SEEKS NEW POSITION FOLLOWING REDUNDANCY.
Meet Spud.
Spud is a 2-year-old, smooth-coated, working-type Jack Russell who has appointed himself Assistant Farm Manager. Nobody actually gave him the job, but he’s taken it very seriously.
His responsibilities include supervising all farm operations, accompanying the collie when rounding up sheep (largely to shout instructions), travelling in tractors and on the quad, and overseeing general farm security.
He is particularly enthusiastic about fox-related matters.
Spud is clever, obedient, funny and full of character. He’s equally happy tearing around the farm at 100mph or switching off completely and falling asleep at your feet.
He’s accustomed to sheep, cattle, horses, chickens, ducks, cats and the general chaos of farm life.
He has excellent recall, is eager to please and genuinely loves having a job to do. Even if that job is mostly telling everyone else how to do theirs.
Spud is an entire male and is looking for a new home through absolutely no fault of his own. Due to a change in my health, we’re having to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome all of our pets.
He’s a fantastic little dog, and although he could happily adapt to different environments, I genuinely think a farm/smallholding would be missing a trick by passing him up.
He’s very much loved, and finding the right home matters far more than finding one quickly.
References from the sheep available upon request. The collie is currently seeking legal advice. 🐑😂
Also seeking a new home is Olive, our standard working type dachshund. She’s equally loved and equally ridiculous, but deserves her own advert! Both are being rehomed due to a change in my health. Happy to discuss either with genuinely interested people.
