Description

This adult male large-breed mixed dog is looking for a suitable and experienced new home. He has strong Akita-type features, including a broad head, thick double coat, curled tail and solid, muscular build. His colouring is red/fawn with darker facial markings, giving him a striking and powerful appearance. He is being advertised as a mixed breed; pedigree paperwork is available for reference only. He is microchipped, however the microchip is still registered to the previous owner and will need to be transferred into the new owner’s name. His vaccinations are not up to date. Flea and worming treatment will need restarting or topping up by the new owner. He is not neutered, which may make him suitable for breeding or stud use if the new owner chooses to pursue this responsibly. He is a confident, alert dog who benefits from structure, routine and experienced handling. He walks on a lead and enjoys regular exercise. Due to his size, strength and guarding-type presence, he would be best suited to an experienced owner familiar with large or powerful breeds. He is not recommended for first-time dog owners. This dog would suit a home that can offer clear leadership, time and commitment. Any breeding decisions would be the responsibility of the new owner and should be carried out ethically and in line with UK guidelines. We are looking for a genuine, long-term home where his needs will be met. Viewings are welcome for serious enquiries only. Please contact with information about your experience and the home you can offer.
