It is with great sadness I've chosen to sell our amazing family dog, Zoe. Zoe has been raised by us since she was 8 weeks old, and has been such a lovely girl. She's super tiny, barely eats anything (low food bill!) and is fully trained. I honestly can't fault her. Fully up to date with vaccines (last annual ones done in June) and has never missed a monthly flea and worming treatment. She is microchipped, not spayed due to size.
The reason for selling is that I'm pregnant, and we've noticed that when she's near a baby whos crying, she gets very nervous and shows signs of skittish behaviour (lip licking, urinating, hiding in crate, tail between legs). She's fantastic with children (I have a son of my own!) But I don't think she'd be able to cope with a baby in the flat. I really don't think it would be fair to her to make her stay and deal with that new situation. I'm distraught. She isn't reactive to other dogs and children in general. Has fantastic recall and is crate trained.
She's a wonderful dog, and has come on many adventures with us (even camping!) I can't believe I'm even writing this advert, but I think its the right thing to do.
