**Meet Maggie**, my 3-year-old Belgian Malinois.
Maggie was originally purchased by her previous owner for £4,500 from a protection dog company. Unfortunately, the owner was unable to meet Maggie’s basic needs, as she requires a high level of mental stimulation and physical exercise. The owner had previously only owned a Cockapoo and was not adequately prepared for the demands of this breed.
I have now had Maggie for two years, and due to already owning 14 other dogs, I am sadly having to rehome her — but only once the *right* home is found.
Maggie is excellent with children, adults, and other dogs. Since having her, I have used Maggie to help rehabilitate over 40 reactive dogs, and she has been an invaluable part of my work.

She absolutely loves agility — her garden is set up as an agility course — and she enjoys playing with toys and bite sleeves, both independently and with my other dogs. Maggie can be sent to a target from approximately 30 metres and reliably called off back into a heel. To her, it is all one big game.
She is:
* Off-lead trained
* Crate trained
* Fully house trained
* Highly obedient and responsive
Commands she knows include:
*Sit, down, heel, away, up, through, watch ’em, get it, yes, no, speak, that’s enough, in, come.*
She is also capable of running up a 4-metre wall.
Maggie loves everyone she is introduced to — once someone throws her toy, they are friends for life. She would suit a knowledgeable family or individual who is happy to use the same command system I use. Even my 3-year-old son can successfully work her through her commands.
Please note:only 5-star homes will be considered. All applicants will be thoroughly vetted by my document controller to ensure they have:
* A secure garden
* The appropriate experience
* A clear understanding of the Belgian Malinois breed
Prospective owners will be required to complete training sessions with me prior to rehoming, to ensure competence and that a genuine bond is formed.
Please do not be offended if your application is declined — Maggie will only go to the home.
