Description
At Freedom Angels, we always try our absolute best to match our dogs with the right homes. Sadly, sometimes despite our best intentions, we don’t get it right. In Linus’s case, we have now made that mistake twice, and we are desperately trying to find him the right foster home where he can finally feel safe, secure, and understood.
Linus is a young, large, beautiful boy, and we believe he has Mioritic Shepherd in him. As many of you know, shepherd-type dogs are incredibly loyal, intelligent, and loving, but they also need experienced handlers who understand their traits and can provide clear, firm boundaries and structure.
We are urgently looking for an experienced foster family who:• Has experience with larger breeds, especially shepherds• Has a secure, decent-sized garden where he can spend time outside• Can have one other dog, but only if that dog is confident, playful, and young• Has no cats• Has no children under 16
Linus is not a bad dog. He is a wonderful, loving boy who simply needs the right environment, guidance, and consistency to thrive.
Freedom Angels will provide full support, including training and covering all costs except food while he is in foster.
We are truly worried about Linus’s future. Without the right foster placement, his long-term outcome may be kennels or sanctuary life, and we so desperately want more for him.
