Description

Odin is an amazing dog and it’s with such a heavy heart we’re looking to rehome him. It’s through absolutely no fault of his own, I’m severely struggling with my mental health and I’m not able to give him the attention and love he deserves. He is a very excitable dog and would be best suited to a couple with experience of this breed (or large breeds generally) as he has a tendency to jump up and isn’t aware of his own size or strength. He would not be suited to a house with cats or small animals as he has a high prey drive. A home with a large breed could be explored but would have to make introductions outside the house first. He knows sit, wait, come, lie down, paw, go to bed, middle, watch & heel but this is something the new owner would have to continue to work on as he is quite stubborn and only listens with minimal distractions. His recall is great inside the house but not so much when out on walks so would be best to keep him on the lead. He gets excited with other dogs and stimuli on walks so this is also something the new owner would have to work with him on. I have toys, blankets, bed & bowls for him to take with him. I am extremely dedicated to finding him a home where he will be loved and given the attention he needs so please do not apply if you do not feel you could give Odin his forever home.
