Description
Some dogs wait patiently.
Others hope a little harder every single day.
Boaz does both — and he has been doing so for over a year now.
Boaz was rescued from a public shelter, a place where his life was hanging by a thread. Thanks to that rescue, he was given a second chance…
Since then, Boaz has been living in a private shelter. He is safe there — but more and more, it’s clear that his heart longs for more:
his own person, his own place, a life that truly feels like his.
🐶 Who is Boaz?:
Boaz is a medium-sized boy (± 40 cm, ± 15 kg) with a natural little bobtail and a compact, sturdy build. He has clear Corgi-like features, combined with shepherd and a subtle touch of spitz — a natural mix you don’t just see, but feel in his character.
✨ Intelligent & eager to learn:
Boaz is smart. Truly smart.
He loves working together, thinks things through, observes carefully and learns quickly. He enjoys doing things with you and naturally seeks connection with “his” person.
😄 A gentle sense of humour:
From time to time, Boaz has these small, disarming moments — a look, a posture, a reaction — that simply make you smile.
He’s quietly funny, without being hyper or demanding.
🐕 Social with other dogs:
Boaz lives peacefully within a kennel group. He connects most easily with female dogs — those are clearly his favourites 😉
Boaz values calm, clarity and mutual respect.
🏡 What is Boaz looking for?:
Boaz is not looking for a perfect home.
He’s looking for his home.
✔ People who understand that a shelter dog may need time
✔ A calm, warm environment
✔ Someone who enjoys building a real bond
✔ A place where he is more than “just a dog”
He would do well with:
a family with a gentle, calm dynamic -
a couple or single adopter - people who love to have real connection with their dog
💛 Why Boaz?:
Because he has everything it takes to be a wonderful dog.
Because he is intelligent, loyal, funny and soft-hearted.
Because he has waited so long.
And because now… it really is his turn.
Boaz is ready.
Ready to learn.
Ready to live.
Ready to laugh.
Ready to finally come home.
🕊️ After more than a year of waiting, he deserves one word more than ever:
“Welcome home.”
