Here at QuailMadness-In-Wiltshire we keep and breed Chinese Painted Button Quails, These are the only type of quails & poultry we keep ! ………. PLEASE READ ALL OF THE INFORMATION BELOW THANK-YOU ! ……… THIS ADVERT WAS UPDATED OCTOBER 18TH ! ……… SEXED CHINESE PAINTED BUTTON QUAILS AVAILABLE ! ………. We have 35 females & 6 Males left. 17 of the females & 3 of the males are 6wks old & then the other 18 females & 3 males are 4wks olds. A couple of the 6wk old females have already laid their first eggs every day this week so far ! 1 of the 6wk old girls ( pictured on her own in 2 pictures ) she’s a lovely rare colour & the pictures don’t do her justice. They are all currently living indoors at room temperature & they will need to continue living indoors at room temperature till they are at least 12wks/3months old due to the weather now be colder or outside from next spring if you wish. They are still eating chick crumb which they will need to eat till they are 10wks old but from 8wks old they can have quail mix & layers mash added into the crumb so they can get used to the different food over a couple of weeks before coming off the crumb. ………. Quails are flock living birds so they are best living in groups, 1 Male is best living with 5 females but they can live with 3 females but no less really due to over mating. Prices are : Females £10 each / 35 available ! Males £5 / 6 available ! ………. If you need Chick crumb we sell it as : 1.5kg bag £3 Or 2 bags £5. ………. We are in Wiltshire, southwest of the uk, just 10-15mins from longleat safari park, BA12 ! ……… A deposit is required at time of order / We will not hold any birds without a deposit due to lots of no shows In the past Thank-You for your understanding !
