Description
Kilo is an 8-month-old Labrador x Presa Canario looking for a knowledgeable, experienced home.
He is fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worm treatments.
He is a strong, energetic young dog who will need ongoing training, structure, and confident handling.
Temperament & Behaviour:
• High energy (typical of his Labrador side) – will need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation
• Brilliant with other dogs of all sizes – very social and enjoys playing
• Currently lives with 2 cats, 1 bunny, and 1 XL Bully
• However, due to becoming overly excited and potentially nipping, we would not recommend a home with small animals
• Very food motivated
• Has food aggression and does have bite history related to food, so must be managed carefully
• Would suit an adult-only home – we would not recommend a home with children as he has not been exposed to them
Kilo has a lot of potential in the right hands and is very loyal and affectionate once he bonds with his person.
Reason for rehoming:
Due to plans to start a family, we feel it’s best to find him a home better suited to his needs.
This is a very difficult decision, and we are committed to finding the right home, not the fastest one.
