Unlike most of our doggies - who we rescue as strays or from communal “shelters”, this handsome boy lived all his life in a proper home. And he is not a “Heinz 57” dog, but only a cross between Patterdale and Jack-Russell. Due to a change of circumstances, his loving family reluctantly decided to look for a ... separate future for lovely BERTIE. More details - on request.
Smart, moderately active and well behaved, he is friendly with people and other dogs, but can become a bit anxious in a busy household.
BERTIE is loving and affectionate. He loves walks and cuddles. He needs a rather quiet space to roam, where he can have great interaction with his owners and where there aren’t a lot of comings and goings.
He needs the attention and confidence which his actual family (mature only / no children) can no longer give him... Please call us for more details.
BERTIE is a beautiful dog with a beautiful nature ! In the right Loving Home, he would make a pleasant and devoted companion.

We do NOT supply dogs to non-genuine Dog-Loving people. There are all kind out there... can’t be too careful !
We do not supply work, assistance or service dogs, regardless of what noble/moral it would be ! We will need your promise that BERTIE will reside as a PET in your Home and he will be well looked-after and loved !
We do not encourage breeding and we are actively involved in actions of neutering stray dogs.
Should you adopt BERTIE, you will also agree to keep in touch with us, for years to come - so we can help with any issues.
You must have your own garden and no children to adopt BERTIE.
We are a 100% genuine and transparent Rescue and are doing substantial efforts to save these lives. We reserve the right to ask any (different) adoption fee / donation for our rescue dogs - depending on circumstances. In most cases, we are not covering the costs ! Anyway, we are flexible and open(...minded) to discuss over the cost with the right potential adopters.
Our preferred method of contact is over the phone or WhatsApp - as we work during the day, with limited access to emails ; it is also more expedient - we can exchange most information in one go.
We keep in touch with absolutely all adopters (more than 500 families, so far). On request, we can obtain & provide very good references from any of them.
