Description
Meet Jessie ❤️
Jessie is a beautiful puppy with a loving, affectionate nature who is looking for her forever family. She is expected to grow into a larger-sized dog, so she’ll need a home ready for a big companion.
Jessie is a happy, confident girl who enjoys being with people. She walks well on the lead, sleeps right through the night, and has a fantastic appetite—she absolutely loves her food and, if given the chance, will happily help herself to yours too!
She is still learning with her toilet training. During the day she goes outside, and overnight she will use puppy pads, so her new family will need to continue her training with patience and consistency.
Jessie is brilliant with other dogs and loves having canine company. She does chase cats, but this is purely because she wants to play rather than through aggression. With sensible introductions and ongoing training, she will continue to learn appropriate manners.
Because she is still a typical puppy, Jessie is very bouncy and can be mouthy, so we feel she would be best suited to a home with older children who understand puppy behaviour.
Jessie is an intelligent, eager-to-please girl with a wonderfully gentle, affectionate temperament. With the right guidance and continued training, she has all the qualities to grow into an amazing family companion—and we think she could even make a wonderful therapy dog thanks to her loving nature.
Could Jessie be the missing piece of your family?
Jessie went into foster in West Yorkshire on the 19th October 2026.
Please keep your eyes peeled for photos and updates to come.
Her Story
Our volunteer spotted her by the side of the road in the country side on the way to Bucharest, she looked very skinny and wobbly. When our volunteer pulled over Jessie hid in the maise field and she couid not find her. Our volunteer left plenty of food and on her way back she checked and the food was gone but no sign of Jessie. She left more food and came back with traps the next day and managed to trap her. She was in a very bad shape, sick and malnourished but she pulled through.
