Description
Healthy Indian Stick Insect (Carausius morosus) eggs available from my own well-kept colony, laid this month (May). My adults are large, healthy, active, and kept in clean, suitable conditions.
I’m a passionate reptile and invertebrate keeper and take a lot of pride in maintaining healthy animals and producing quality eggs.
Care Information
Indian stick insects are one of the easiest invertebrates to care for, making them perfect for beginners, children, classrooms, or experienced keepers.
They mainly eat:
* Bramble (blackberry leaves) — best option
* Raspberry leaves
* Oak leaves
* Rose leaves
* Ivy
They should be kept in a ventilated enclosure with twigs or branches for climbing and moulting. Light misting every few days helps maintain humidity.
Hatching Information
Eggs usually hatch in around 2–4 months, depending on temperature. Warmer conditions generally speed up hatching.
Prices
* 10 eggs — £5
* 15 eggs — £7
* 20 eggs — £9
For larger quantities (20+ eggs), pricing can be discussed.
Collection & Postage
Collection is available, or I can post via Royal Mail 24hr for the current postage cost (paid by the buyer). Eggs will be packaged carefully and securely.
