Classy and elegant mare, well put together model with good substance and an eye catching athletic finish.
Courtney is a lovely natured mare who’s very easy to do everything with on the ground. A good doer who will live in or out. Loads and travels on trailer or lorry , well mannered and nice natured and settles into any yard routine / set up.
Happy to turn out with mares and geldings.
Great to catch.
Exceptionally elegant mare who moves for sheer fun. Masses of range in the trot. Has a super medium trot with beautiful front end extension, followed through by expressive hock action. Canter is very uphill , collected and rhythmical. Has a very rideable canter and the text book canter you’d want in the ring. Very straight moving mare with a mouth like butter making her very adjustable and rangy on the flat. Has always scored in the 70%’s at BRC level dressage, no surprise with the level of expression in her every stride.
Courtney has a consistent BS record. Jumping up to members cup qualifiers. 124 double clears on her record , £871 of winnings, and 856 points. Very consistent at newcomers / 1m10 open , as well as clears and top 3 placing in national members cup qualifiers. Extremely textbook technique over a fence , careful both in front and behind and quick off the floor. Has jumped at numerous big venues and stay aways , to include ; Scope Festival , Hartpury Classic, Wales And West, The Grange , Moores Equestrian , Prestige, Aintree , West Wilts, etc …
Courtney would have masses of talent and desirable characteristics to pass on to offspring.
We are selling as a broodmare due to going sour to the riding job. We have had great fun with her but now feel she’s ready to go and have some very promising foals.
There are no issues or injuries , we are just not rehoming as a ridden mare. If we had more land then we’d have certainly had a go with the breeding ourselves but unfortunately that’s just not realistic for us at the moment.
Would be an asset to any stud / breeding program.
