About me and how I work
I have over 40 years experience of this breed and it’s the only one for me.
I have have a 5 star higher rating dog breeding license with my local council - NNDC. This means my premises and animals have been inspected and approved by the Councils inspectors local independent vet.
As an established licensed breeder, you can be assured that these puppies are being raised according to the guidelines set out by DEFRA and I have carefully selected the parents taking into account - temperament, genetic diversity, conformation, health test results and COI before deciding on any matings. This reflects my commitment to responsible breeding, health, welfare and raising happy, confident puppies.
Meet the Parents
Mum is a beautiful shaded sable rough collie. She is first and foremost our much-loved family pet. She is one of the kindest and sweetest girls you could meet, and her puppies have inherited her wonderful temperament and loving nature.
Dad is a very handsome Tri coloured male, he is proving to be a very successful stud dog again first and foremost he is our very much loved family pet.
All my boys and girls live in my home - NOT in kennels.
Both parents have been extensively DNA and health tested so as a result NONE of these puppies will be affected for CEA/DM/MDR1/PRA/CN/HUU and DMS low risk.
This litter incorporates British, European and American Bloodlines from well established Kennels including my own.
I have used the Royal Kennel Club (RKC) coefficient of inbreeding (COI) calculation as a factor when planning this litter and these puppies have an COI of 0.0%.
The average according to the RKC database for 2025 is 10.7%.
(The RKC notes that the COI is a measure of risk, the higher the COI, the higher the risk of health issues).
Both parents have sound temperaments and their pedigrees are littered with numerous Champions.
Raising Happy, Healthy and Confident Puppies
Health and temperament are my highest priorities.
Jennie was born in my living room where she got used to and has become accustomed to the everyday sights and sounds of a busy household.
She has been handled, talked too, kissed and cuddled daily as a result she is very friendly, kind and has a loving disposition.
She gets on well with other dogs both inside and outside of the home.
