With a very heavy heart, we are looking to find a loving new home for our beautiful dog, Ora. Due to a significant change in our personal circumstances, we are no longer able to give Ora the time, attention, and care she truly deserves. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and our priority is finding her the right home where she will be loved, cared for, and given the active lifestyle she needs. Ora is a gorgeous golden-brown Cockapoo, around 3 years old, weighing approximately 10kg. She has been spayed and is fully house trained. She is full of energy, affection, and personality. Like many Cockapoos, Ora loves being active and would suit a home that can offer her plenty of walks, exercise, playtime, and attention. She absolutely loves going on walks and is trained for off-lead walks, with good recall and a good understanding of the “stay” command. Ora is extremely food-motivated, intelligent, and very trainable. She has so much potential, and with the right person or family, I genuinely believe she could continue to learn and thrive. She loves playing, loves cuddles, and is happiest being close to her people. She will happily sit beside you asking for scratches and belly rubs until your hands get tired. I also want to be fully transparent about her needs and little quirks. Ora does have some separation anxiety. This has been manageable for us as we have had two dogs, and she has been comfortable being left for up to 6 hours with no issues when with another dog. However, if she were to be the only dog in the home, this may need to be carefully managed or retrained. For this reason, she would be best suited to a home where she would not be left alone for long periods, or with someone who has the time and patience to help her settle properly. Like many female dogs, when she gets very excited, she can occasionally have a little accidental wee, so her new owners would need to be understanding of this. This mostly happens if you greet her with a lot of energy when you return from being outside. It's a very well documented thing so please google and read up if it helps! Ora is a loving, playful, clever, and affectionate dog who deserves a home where she can get the time, exercise, stimulation, and love she needs. We are not looking to rush this decision and will be prioritising the right home over anything else. Serious enquiries only, please.
