Such dear gerbils. Handled every day, they are very used to sniffing at fingers and being held in our hands. KitKat has the most stunning colouring I have ever seen in a gerbil, black on the head and tail and beautiful soft grey elsewhere. Cookie Crumb is especially inquisitive and loves to have his head and neck stroked when being held. Neither have ever bitten the children or I.
They are familiar with eating an all-in- one food, so nothing is wasted. They enjoy treats of fruit and veg.
They love to roll in their sand bath and it's comical to watch.
Adore chewing up loo rolls. Love running in their wheel (very quiet). Enjoy playing together in our empty bath! 😊
I have a beautiful deep cage with lots of glass, so you can see them play and they can have deep bedding to rummage in.
They chewed the plastic tubes at top of cage, so I have blocked off the resulting two holes.
I have metal ladders and upper layer to go in cage. We took them out as a bit noisy.
Will give you all the sawdust and food and accessories that I have at the time.
Neither have ever been ill. They are very agile and seem in perfect health.
