Description
Orla – a quality 3/4 Irish Draught mare o a green Irish Sports Horse passport. 16hh, looking for the right next chapter.
Beautifully bred, substantial bay Irish Draught mare by Roadside True Blue out of Annaghmaconway Cavalier.
Orla is a proven broodmare, having had a foal before coming to me. She is a lovely, affectionate mare on the ground who enjoys human attention.
She has previously been advertised as having hacked alone and in company, being good in traffic and having jumped courses up to 90cm.
Unfortunately, Orla has gone sour under saddle and is being offered for sale as a project mare, sold from the field. She will need a knowledgeable, experienced person who understands that she requires time, patience and a fresh start. She is not suitable for a novice or anyone wanting a straightforward riding horse.
She may appeal to someone who enjoys producing a project at their own pace, or to someone looking for a well-bred broodmare.
This is a genuine sale, with finding the right home being the priority.
Up to date with worming, vaccinations and teeth. Fabulous to load, clip and with the farrier
Experienced homes only. No timewasters, please as this is a heartbreaking situation.
