Brownie and his siblings had an incredibly sheltered start to life in Macedonia and sadly missed out on many of the normal experiences and socialisation that puppies need to grow into confident adult dogs. As a result, Brownie has grown into a sensitive and cautious boy who is still learning that the world around him is safe. But underneath that uncertainty is an incredibly gentle little soul who wants to trust and learn Brownie has been the most fearful sibling. When his previous carer first collected him after he had spent around a year in boarding, his sisters would approach to take treats from her hands while Brownie was initially too frightened. But give this boy a little time and something rather lovely starts to happen…He tries. Even during just a few days in his previous carer’s home, she began seeing progress. He’s a dog whose trust you earn and we already know just how rewarding watching that happen can be. 💛 PERSONALITY Brownie has been described as an incredibly gentle, quiet and observant boy. No one has never heard him bark. Rather than immediately involving himself in something, Brownie likes to watch first and work things out. Brownie will need time to decompress when he arrives in a new space and allow him to show who he is without putting pressure on him. 🍗 FOOD = THE WAY TO HIS HEART Positive, reward based training will be incredibly important for Brownie.
