Home reared, offering a premium service and premium quality puppies. We pride ourselves on 100 per cent customer satisfaction, many of our customers are from returning customers or recommendations. I hold a Level 3 Canine First Aid Diploma with Distinction and Dog Grooming Diploma. I also hold an internationally recognised Dog Training Essentials and Dog Training and Behaviour accreditation. We only breed from fully health tested parents with proven temperaments to ensure the breeding results in the optimum of genes possible.
The mother is our very special Missy, a KC registered five generations enhanced pedigree dark red miniature poodle with multiple show champions in her blood line and an excellent example of the breed. She has a very lovable and sweet personality with an excellent temperament who loves to be around people and other dogs. She is a very confident dog and a born leader. She is in excellent health with the vet commenting at her last annual vet check that she was in very good condition with a very strong heart and strong pulses. She is a very athletic dog who is incredibly sweet and makes a wonderful companion as forever by my side. Mother has been extensively health tested for the following with Foresight Health:-

The father is a very handsome ruby registered Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with no white on his body. He has a very calm, gentle and affectionate temperament. He is hereditary clear for both curly coat/De and EF and has been heart tested with no audible heart murmur, regular rhythm with no arrythmia noted and no visual changes to tricuspid or mitral valves.
All Kennel club registration documents, proof of champion kennel club pedigree of mother and health tests of parents, available for inspection at in person viewings.
We follow a strict socialisation plan adhering to the guidance issued by the Kennel club. Our puppies are brought up in a busy family household environment surrounded by our young children ensuring lots of attention and being held every day. A puppy’s personality can be heavily influenced by the role of the breeder in its’ early life, this is where Poodle Curls really excels as our puppies leave us confident and able to settle in to their new homes faster. No overlapping of litters and no outbuildings as puppies reared and whelped in our very large kitchen area.
Puppies will be given an excellent grounding to their toilet training with us as it starts here at 4 weeks old. At four weeks old, they are trained to use the garden for regular toileting breaks ( about ten times each day we go out for short ten minute breaks). When weather is nice we have extended play times in the garden. Our puppies associate grass with toileting and know what to do when they leave us. Puppy rearing done properly is very hard work hence why we do not have any overlapping of litters here and do not breed to demand, the welfare of our family dogs comes first and is of paramount importance. As soon as our puppies turn 4 weeks old, they start intensive training of associating grass with toileting. Otherwise, puppies leave the breeder only ever toileting in their living conditions setting them up for failure and disappointment/frustration in their new homes. Breaking bad habits of a poorly reared puppy will only be a source of stress for all family members but with us this can be avoided meaning the focus is on enjoyment of the puppy.
Poodle Curls have been described by White Mill Vets at their council vet inspection of our dogs and premises as “an experienced dog breeder.”
We have sold puppies to homes bought for school support dogs, business ambassadors and therapeutic companion purposes. Our puppies would also do very well with any special need children or neurodivergent adults due to their superb temperaments. Missy’s puppies would make excellent therapy dogs as Missy is, a forever by your side dog, always wanting to obey the owner, fearless and friendly with everyone she meets.

*1st Vaccinations given - usually Nobivac DHP and Nobivac L4
*Wormed with Panacur at 2, 5 and 8 weeks in accordance with guidance dependent on their weight. Nail clipped weekly (I've extensive grooming experience and grooming needs to start when they are young enough to get them used to it.).
*Seller to obtain 5 weeks pet insurance for peace of mind for buyers which will be active upon the day of collection of their puppy.
*Owners given a scented blanket of mother’s scent to calm puppy in its new home and soft toy together with Information sheet.
*Owners given a supply of Purina Healthy Start Puppy food
*Puppy contract for peace of mind to protect your legal rights- money accepted only by bank transfer for accounting to HMRC. Cash won’t be accepted under any circumstances.
No expense will be spared in raising these puppies. We do not facilitate visits to view the puppies and mother until 4 weeks old to protect the puppies’ developing immune systems, their wellbeing comes first.
