I’m looking for a loving, experienced home for my two pet rats, who are around 6 months old. They are a bonded pair and I would really like them to be rehomed together. They are both healthy and have lovely personalities, but they are quite nervous with handling and aren’t particularly comfortable being picked up at the moment. They can be skittish and will need someone patient and confident who is willing to spend time building their trust and getting them used to being handled at their own pace. They are not aggressive, but they can be difficult to handle and may try to avoid being picked up. For this reason, I think they would be best suited to someone with previous experience with rats, or someone who has done plenty of research and is prepared to work patiently with them. They have lots of potential to become more confident with regular, gentle interaction and a settled environment. They must be rehomed together as they are bonded and shouldn’t be separated! I’m looking for a genuinely caring home where they will be well looked after and given the time and patience they need. I’m happy to answer any questions and would much rather find the right home for them than rush the rehoming💗💗
