About Mustang
Sweet Mustang was found straying on the streets and came into our care in very poor condition. We believe he had been wandering for quite some time... he was extremely skinny, dirty, had dry skin, and his stool contained plastic and bits of paper.
In just one week of being with us he has already made amazing progress. He has gained 2 kg, his skin has improved, his coat is becoming much shinier, and overall he is looking and feeling much healthier.
Mustang can be a little nervous when he first meets new people, but he absolutely loves human attention and affection. He is constantly seeking reassurance and his favorite thing to do is jump up for a cuddle. Since arriving with us he has already grown in confidence and continues to improve every day.
He loves food, enjoys treats, and has great fun playing with squeaky toys and tennis balls.
Mustang has been to the vets for a full health check and vaccinations and is now ready to find a home where he can be loved and spoiled as he deserves.
Other Dogs
Yes, Mustang is fine with other dogs. However, we are not sure how much socialization he has had previously. If other dogs become overwhelming he can feel a little unsure and may shy away. We believe he would benefit from living with a calm, confident dog who could help teach him “how to dog”.
Children & Other Animals
Any children in the home would need to be 6 years or older.
We are unsure whether Mustang has been around cats and unfortunately we are unable to cat test.
