She is such a sweet, affectionate girl, but like a true Scottish Fold, affection is very much on her terms. She loves being close to her person and will happily curl up on my lap while I’m watching TV, especially if there’s a cosy blanket involved. If she isn’t in the mood for cuddles, she’ll still choose to sleep nearby and always likes to be in the same room as me. She follows me around the house, comes to greet me when I get home and absolutely loves a fuss and being stroked. One of the sweetest things about her is how attached she is to familiar scents — if I leave a piece of clothing somewhere, she will almost immediately settle down on it. When I get out of bed in the morning, she often moves straight into the warm spot where I was sleeping. 🥰 She isn’t particularly keen on being picked up, which is quite typical of Scottish Folds, but she is incredibly gentle about it. She never fights or scratches — she just patiently waits for her opportunity to get back down! Unfortunately for her, she is far too cute, so she gets picked up for kisses more often than she would probably choose. 😂❤️ She really is a lovely little companion — affectionate without being demanding, gentle, calm and happiest simply being close to the people she loves. I would love her new home to be somewhere she can form that same special bond with her new owner and be treated as part of the family.
