It’s with the heaviest heart that we have to rehome our boy. Due to life changes he simply isnt able to live his best life with us right now and it’s not fair on him. We absolutely adore him and would love his new family to possibly be able to send us some updates every now and then to see how he’s loving his new life ❤️
Hector is a two year old cockerdor (show cocker x Labrador). He’s an energetic, loving and excitable boy so will need a family that are used to bouncy energetic pups!
Heccy is good with children and other animals, however due to being such an excitable boy hes best in a home with older children who are used to dogs. He’s absolutely full of love , he’s just a bit forceful to get it! 😂
Hector still needs a lot of training. He does pull on the lead but we have been attending training classes to fix this, it’s still a work in progress! We have never let him off lead on walks but we do use a long line to let him explore and practice recall which he is (mostly) pretty good at! Hector has never been off lead with another dog but when he has been around dogs, although he’s not playing for long, he has played very well and shown no signs of aggression.
Heccy is an affectionate boy who LOVES to cuddle! He has bundles of energy and will happily walk all day so is the perfect companion for long strolls. He loves to go for a swim and fetch his ball from the water and a game of tug is his favourite!
The right person for Hector must understand that he is an energetic dog that needs a lot of exercise and mental enrichment. He’s a working breed and needs his needs fulfilled to get the best out of him. He’s a beautiful boy and an amazing addition to the right person ❤️
