Description
We have one liver dog puppy available from our litter of five, born on 3rd June 2026. He will be ready to join his new home at the end of July. Both parents work in the shooting field during the season.
Our puppies are raised in our home using the Puppy Culture programme, giving them the very best start through carefully planned socialisation, enrichment and confidence-building. We breed only occasionally, and only when we are keeping a puppy ourselves. We also own Penny’s mother and retained a puppy from Penny’s first litter, so this is a line we know and love.
Our puppies will leave:
* KC Registered
* Legally docked (certificate provided)
* Dew claws retained
* Microchipped
* 5 weeks’ free insurance
* Puppy pack included
* 5 days’ supply of Nutriment Raw Puppy food
* Currently weaned onto Nutriment Raw Working Puppy
Dam – Penny
This is Penny’s second litter. Penny is a beautifully natured, affectionate and highly trainable working cocker who is a much-loved member of our home as well as a hardworking shooting dog.
During the shooting season she works on the beating line up to four days a week, hunting with enthusiasm through all types of cover while remaining sensible and biddable. She has also been shot over, both on peg and as a walking gun, confidently retrieving shot game and training dummies. Away from work, she has a wonderful off switch and is equally happy relaxing at elevenses after a morning’s work.
Penny weighs approximately 12–13kg, depending on the time of year.
Sire – Ace
Ace is a true-to-type working cocker spaniel; compact, strong and exceptionally biddable with a fantastic temperament and an eagerness to please. He is honest, responsive and has a naturally soft mouth, retrieving confidently from both land and water.
He comes from a long line of proven working spaniels and is an intuitive shooting companion who marks game well, quickly finds pricked birds and delivers neatly to hand. Ace is incredibly food motivated, maintains his condition easily and is never a fussy eater.
He weighs around 11.5–12kg with a compact, well-balanced build, deep chest and correct conformation.
The Litter
The Penny × Ace mating was carefully planned to produce puppies with excellent temperaments, sound working ability and the versatility to excel as either shooting companions or active, much-loved pets.
Preference will be given to working, active or experienced spaniel homes where this puppy’s natural instincts can be nurtured and developed.
If you think you could offer him the right home, or would like any further information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We’d be delighted to answer any questions.
