Description
Very friendly budgie parrot, still under 1 year of age so still very easy to train and adapt on new environments and with other people. Never been in contact with kids but had been in contact with other animals as I have a dog and a cat, train to come on finger, sit on shoulder and to sleep all night long. I trained him ‘bed time’ to be around 20:00-21:00, waking up 8:00-9:00 so in between these hours he won’t sing or fly. I usually leave his cage open around 2-3 hours every day so he can get his flying, feeding time twice a day on a diet focused on seeds every day and fresh fruits once a week, treats always in his cage (fruits sticks, honey bells etc).
The parrot will come with an XL cage (cage for 3 parrots), all his toys, 1kg of bird sand for the cage tray and 2kg of seeds, basically everything that you would need for at least 2 months.
He’s very well behaved, likes his time alone so he won’t give you trouble most of the day if he is getting his food, only loud when he is hungry.
Do never cover his cage at night, he will sleep peacefully without having to need his cage covered, I always leave a little light on so he can see at night in case he wants water, if you cover his cage he will wake up and panic because he won’t recognise where he is, this will lead to flying in circles in the cage that can cause injuries to his wings, so never cover the cage at night (you won’t have to anyway as he will peacefully sleep).
I have a mini radio where he permanently listens to music on, that helps him to not feel lonely but if you plan to have him on a living room or somehwhere he can see people move and hear them talk you shouldn’t need the music for him.
I feel so bad to do this, but we recently rescued a kitten, the kitten was abused and never in contact with other animals/people so he would attack Skye every time they are near each other so I have to keep Skye in a separate room for his safety, but it hurts me more to see him struggle by himself and me only spending so little time with him, he deserves a way better life that’s why I hope somebody with a big heart will have him and love him maybe even more than I did ❤️ open to put the price lower, just talk to me.
