Description
15.2hh | 5yo | Black | Warmblood Mare | Homebred | South Wales
A genuinely special young mare with the temperament, athleticism and attitude to go far in any discipline or equally be your forever best family friend.
Beautifully bred with all recorded breeding and both parents available to meet. She has been slowly and correctly produced, giving her a fantastic foundation to build upon. Short-coupled, powerful and athletic, with a strong hind end, straight paces and light, expressive movement.
Her biggest asset is her nature. Affectionate, genuine and incredibly easy to have around. She has absolutely no nastiness and is the type you can enjoy, learn and progress with. A mare in name only — very non-mareish! One you'll be able to just do everything with alone, no stress, no drama. Just a pleasure to have.
She hacks alone and in company, is sensible in traffic and has seen most traffic including cars, vans, motorbikes, quads and bicycles to farm machinery and animals such as peacocks/goats. Recently hacked to an arena, loose jumped approximately 1m on her first experience of a fence, and has had her first ridden jump with no issues — showing a willing, genuine attitude despite still being green.
She is equally uncomplicated on the ground — comes to call in the largest of fields, goes out with any horse and makes friends, tack up even if loose in the field, easy to handle, farrier (barefoot). Hacked to an unknown yard and loaded onto a trailer for the first time and was eating hay, very chilled. Also, had her first clip and stood like a statue.
She can live out on a 50-acre mountain with a rug and balancer or is equally happy stabled with limited turnout. Easy to keep, handle and manage. Ride her every day or leave her for months — she comes back the same horse. No need to lunge her to get on etc.
Soft mouth, responsive to the aids and willing to learn. She has all the attributes to develop into a really exciting competition prospect while remaining an enjoyable all-rounder.
Not suitable for a complete novice purely because she is young and still learning herself, but she would suit someone wanting a genuine horse to learn, develop and progress with together.
💫 A lovely young mare with a huge amount to offer and an even bigger heart.
Only for sale due to lack of grazing and time, so finding her the right home is far more important than a quick sale.
