Description

Meet Ollie, a surviving ex-street cat who has a world of love to give to his forever human. Originally part of a TNR campaign last summer, Ollie turned out to need far more care than expected, including treatment for dental issues, an open wound under his jaw, an ear infection, and a later serious health scare. Thankfully, after full veterinary workups and recovery, everything came back clear, his issues were linked to trauma, and he has since bounced back with his heart fully intact and ready to love. Ollie is a hugely affectionate boy who has flourished in foster care. He loves human company and will happily seek out attention, greeting you with head rubs, purrs and his trademark excited chatter. When he's especially happy, he can become so enthusiastic that he quivers with excitement and even dribbles a little! Having spent much of his life in confinement Ollie is still discovering how wonderful life as a pet can be. He is curious, intelligent and loves being involved in whatever is going on around him - but still is wary of sudden and loud noises, a residual habit from his street days. Ollie can occasionally become over-excited and will need some understanding managing his enthusiasm - but he has made excellent progress in his foster home and continues to do so, growing in confidence. He has shown interest in other cats although his eagerness isn't always appreciated! He hasn't learned social cues, but he isn't a dominant male, so it very much depends on the resident cat and this can be discussed with any prospective adopters. Ollie is looking for a home with no children due to his ongoing development of interaction and social cues. He needs an adopter who is patient, observant, and able to respect his boundaries while still enjoying his very engaging, very sweet, and very loving personality. This boy is overflowing with love and needs his human to receive all he has to offer. Ollie is: ✅ Vaccinated ✅ Dewormed ✅ Microchipped ✅ Neutered ✅ Blood tested (FIV-/FeLV-) ✅ Vet health checked Ollie is interactive, bonds easily, and loves with all his heart, but he needs understanding and an experienced owner to help him truly leave his traumatic past behind.
