This is Neli.
The decision to re-home Neli hasn’t been very easy, she has been with me for 6 years and has been a very loving companion for those 6years.
Due to having a special needs daughter I feel that it is no longer the best environment for her.
She is on the larger size of medium. She is microchipped and neutered, she is very ‘house trained’- never has accidents and will ask to go to the garden.
Shes amazing with children/babies and dogs that she IS familiar with.
She loves cats!
She doesn’t like the car but will travel quietly with no fuss.
She is very good on the lead and off lead. Her recall is generally very good.
She enjoys her walks and has came on many hikes with me.
She is a rescue from Bulgaria- so she does have some minor flaws.
-she is not keen on men to start- but once she gains their trust she is the most loving pet.
-she can be a little reactive with dogs that she does not know, I have took her to training for this and she is much better then she used to be. But due to having a special needs daughter I feel like I cannot give her that time that she needs to help her overcome this.
It has become a bit overwhelming for me to look after her the older my daughter is getting.
- she will bark and run to the door when someone’s visiting/posting parcels
Despite her minor flaws, for the right person (someone who has some experience with dogs like neli) she would be a wonderful companion.
Neli is very much loved here and as I have mentioned this decision has not been easy for me, and she will only be going to the right person.
