Didlington Doodles - Simply the Best!
First of all a bit about Didlington Doodles.
I am a fully licensed, experienced and well respected Labradoodle and Goldendoodle breeder.
We were one of the first families in the UK to realise that if bred correctly Labradoodles truly are incredibly wonderful dogs. So we decided to start out on the road to breeding these outstanding dogs. Now some 20 years later and having gained a wealth of experience, I am delighted to say I have the perfect set up for producing exceptionally beautiful puppies with wonderful happy, fun and highly intelligent temperaments. In my opinion they are true representatives of the breed.
All my dogs and puppies are born and brought up in my home, I do not believe in kennels and want my dogs with me and around my day to day life at all times. I would hate to have them shut away in kennels. They are all family!
I choose my breeding dogs very carefully. They are chosen for temperament, health, confirmation, coat and compatibility. I am proud to say we have a huge number of excellent testimonials and are generally in continued contact with our puppy owners from the start, as their new family members grow up, and then throughout their adult dogs lives. Most of our puppies go to families - they are truly fabulous dogs with children, but we also have many that have gone on to become assistance dogs, therapy dogs, PAT Dogs and we also have a number of our pups that have become school dogs in both day and boarding schools throughout the UK.
I am more than happy to discuss your requirements and whether the chosen pup will be suitable for you and likewise whether you will be suitable for the pup. My aim is to give you peace of mind so that when the time comes to take your puppy home, you are 100% prepared and fully confident that your puppy has been brought up correctly and in the best possible way ready to start his/her life with you. I put a huge amount into achieving this for you, my pups and dogs have a wonderful life here and get the very best of everything!
So……onto the Pups!
My beautiful Yoshka has absolutely surpassed herself and yesterday she presented me with an outstanding litter of 7 utterly beautiful and perfect DoubleDoodle puppies!
This is Yoshi’s final litter and all the pups that she has produced in the past have been without a doubt, incredible! We kept the wonderful Bibi from one of her previous litters, and like her Mum she is the most perfect gentle and loving dog ever. Everyone wants her!
These puppies are thriving, all very uniform in birth size, and as ever Yoshi is being the perfect devoted Mum.
The pups will be medium in size (about 18” to 20” at the shoulder when mature) with excellent coats. Both parents are of course health tested. Yoshka is a Labradoodle measuring 21” and Ziggy is a GoldenDoodle measuring 18” - hence the pups are termed as DoubleDoodles.
Dad is Ziggy - a new pairing with Yoshi, but he was Dad to Bibi’s litter born in December and the pups are fabulous. Their new families are all delighted with them and they are turning into beautiful dogs.
Having experienced Ziggy’s pups before I was excited to have him as Dad to Yoshka’s final litter - I knew we’d get great temperaments but thought with the combination of their DNA’s the colours and patterns they’d produce would be exciting, however you never know until the pups arrive! Well they certainly didn’t disappoint. I never tire of the time I spend with my Mum’s during the whelping process and am always overwhelmed by how wonderful it is and the incredible instincts the Mum’s have. Each pup that arrived yesterday surpassed the one before! I was definitely on cloud nine once they’d arrived, albeit a little exhausted!! 😅
Our final count was as follows:-
3 girls:
1 x black phantom (RETAINED)
1 x pale cream - RESERVED
1 x darker cream
4 boys:
1 x dark brown (possibly brindle) phantom - BOOKED
1 x black and white parti
1 x brown and white parti
1 x pale cream
So now we’ll have a couple of relatively calm weeks ahead as Yoshi cares for her babies and as her resident slave I care for her - feeding, cleaning and keeping everything ship shape! As normal for the time being they will remain in the peace and calm of the ‘maternity suite’. At about 3 weeks they join the rest of the family down in the kitchen, where they get used to and become part of our day to day life - Experiencing all the household noise and chaos! They have a litter tray and we start preparing them to be clean. At around 6 weeks, weather depending, they start adventuring into the outside world. Beneath sunshades and with loads of toys and obstacles they venture out onto the puppy terrace, into the puppy pod and out into the puppy garden. This is fun time and the pups love it! Much to the amazement (and delight!) of their new owners most of our pups are well on the way to being housetrained by the time they leave us.
During their time with us and once they are ready the pups are constantly handled, meet lots of different people, children and our family dogs. They are desensitised to household noises and are regularly groomed. They become confident little bundles of fun! We don’t rush anything but are guided by the progression of the litter. Too much too soon can be very detrimental to a puppies development.
As always all homes are vetted and all prospective new owners will be asked to fill in our questionnaire to make sure they can offer a suitable home and likewise to be sure one of our pups will be suitable for them.
Once you have reserved your puppy you will join our litter WhatsApp group where I post daily updates on the pups’ progress, video’s and photo’s. Questions are asked and answered. You meet your fellow puppy owners and our litter community begins.
These pups will be ready to leave us when 8 weeks old, fully vet checked, microchipped and having had their first vaccination, as from 4th October 😊
