It is with a very heavy heart that we have decided to find Mist a new home. She was born on 22nd March 2026 and has been part of our family since she was a young kitten. Mist is a lovely, confident and affectionate little cat. She is very playful and inquisitive, enjoys being around people and will happily settle next to you for a sleep and a fuss. She has been raised as an indoor cat and is fully litter trained. Unfortunately, despite taking time introducing her to our dog, our dog remains overly excited around Mist and continues wanting to chase her when she moves around the house. Mist generally stands her ground and has adapted very well, but we have decided that this isn’t the calm long-term environment we want for her. This is the only reason we are looking to rehome her. Mist is: • Fully vaccinated • Microchipped • Flea and worm treated • Litter trained • Used to being handled and picked up • Comfortable around people • Used to living in a normal busy household She has not yet been spayed and is now approaching the age where this will need to be arranged by her new owner. We would like her to remain primarily an indoor cat, ideally with access to a secure/cat-proofed garden if outdoor access is provided. Mist will also come with everything we have bought specifically for her, including her large 1.8 m+ cat tree, concealed litter tray cabinet, litter tray and both her hard and soft carriers, together with her other belongings and remaining food, which is approximately 3 weeks worth. This isn’t a decision we have made lightly and there is absolutely no urgency for Mist to leave. Finding the right permanent home is much more important to us than finding one quickly. We would therefore like to know a little about the home she would be going to and are looking for someone who genuinely wants her as a long-term member of their family.
