Say Hello to Oreo – Searching for His Forever Home! 🐾❤️
Introducing Oreo, a lovely one-year-old Patterjack who is ready to find a special family to call his own. 🏡
Oreo has come into rescue following an accidental litter, as his breeder is no longer able to keep the dogs. Now this young boy is looking for a new beginning with people who will give him the love, patience and care he deserves.
🐾 A little about Patterjacks
Patterjacks are a cross between a Patterdale Terrier and a Jack Russell Terrier. Although they are small dogs, they are often full of energy, intelligence and terrier spirit! They enjoy being active, exploring their surroundings and having plenty to keep their minds busy.
Oreo will be looking for an active home that can offer daily exercise, play, enrichment and continued training. A family who understands the needs of lively terrier breeds will be best placed to help him settle in and thrive.
Oreo is dog friendly, and could happily live with another dog. He is not cat tested. Oreo could live with dog savvy children, that are supervised.
Oreo has a brother who is also looking for a home, however they can happily be rehomed separately.
Could you be the one to offer Oreo the fresh start he deserves?
If you can provide Oreo with an active, caring and permanent home, please contact the rescue team to learn more about him and our adoption process.
Help us find Oreo the loving forever home he deserves. ❤️🐾

Original breeder
Pros
Robust, healthy working terrier cross with very few serious hereditary conditions
Very low grooming requirements — the short, dense coat needs only a weekly brush
Highly energetic and athletic — an excellent companion for active outdoor owners
Among the most affordable small crossbreeds in the UK
Cons
Extremely high prey drive makes the breed unsuitable for households with cats or small animals
Very high exercise needs for a small dog — requires 60 minutes of vigorous activity daily
Strong terrier independence makes recall unreliable and formal training challenging without experience
Not recommended for families with young children or novice dog owners without terrier experience
