š” Looking for a new home as sadly outgrown.
Weāve owned Rico for the past 3 years & heās been a huge part of our daughterās riding journey, taking her from LR to confidently riding independently. Weād love to find him another little person to have fun with & make lots more memories.
That said, Rico is not a FR. He is forward-going, will try his luck and has shown to have a buck when excited, but this hasnāt ever been an issue for our 9 year old. Rico isnāt the kind of pony who enjoys to be pampered for hours, heās more interested in getting to his field or out for a ride. Due to this, I would suggest that he is not suitable for a complete novice.
Most of his time with us has been spent schooling & hacking at a leisurely level. He has attended a handful of local shows & has always enjoyed getting out & about. We have done a limited amount of jumping with Rico, to which he has shown to really enjoy this, but is green jumping as we havenāt done much of it.
Rico can be spooky, nothing more than you would expect for a welshie, but with a confident rider 9/10 times he will walk past anything. Rico is currently living on a working cattle farm so is exposed to machinery, dogs and cows.
Rico is fine to catch, clip, load, bath, shoe (fronts only). He is upto date with vaccinations, teeth and physio.
Rico does have a few minor health issues, which we have found are very easily manageable. Full details will be discussed with genuine enquiries.
This is an incredibly sad sale - Rico will only go to the very best home. He is a typical Welsh with plenty of personality so weād like him to go to an experienced, knowledgeable home who will understand his quirks & continue to enjoy him as much as we have.
