It is with a very heavy heart that we have made the difficult decision to find a new home for our beloved boy, Anubis (Nunu). Nunu has a rare and beautiful lilac coat that turns heads and attracts admiration wherever we go. Beyond his looks, he is a wonderful little companion with a lovely personality. He is well-behaved both indoors and outdoors, full of energy and always ready for an adventure. At the same time, he is fine to spend time in his playpen at home while we are at work. He knows several basic commands, including sit, stay, down and roll over. Nunu can be a little reserved around strangers, but once he gets to know someone, he forms a close and loving bond with them. He can be a little timid around larger dogs, but generally gets along well with small and medium-sized dogs, as well as cats. Nunu is not neutered and can become very excited around female dogs in season. We have occasionally offered him for stud, and he has done well in this regard. Nunu has brought so much joy, love and happiness into our lives, which makes this decision incredibly painful. Unfortunately, both my wife and I have developed severe allergic reactions since bringing him into our lives. After years of trying various treatments, we have had to face the heartbreaking reality that rehoming Nunu may be the only way for us to manage our allergies. This is absolutely not a decision we have taken lightly. We love him dearly, and our biggest wish is to find him a family who will cherish him just as much as we do, and even more. Chihuahuas can live for many years, and we want Nunu to spend those years surrounded by love, care and companionship. We are not simply looking for a new owner for him; we are looking for his forever home, where he will be a treasured member of the family for the rest of his life. We will provide everything he needs to help him settle into his new home, and we hope to find someone who will give him all the love and happiness he deserves.
