my name’s Miro.
I’ve been waiting over four years behind bars… watching other dogs find homes, wondering why no one ever chooses me. Every night I curl up, hoping that tomorrow will be the day my person finally comes. But so far… no one has. 💔
The other day, my friends let me spend an hour inside a real home. It was warm… quiet… safe.
I found a little teddy on the floor, and I held it close, because for that one hour, it felt like it belonged to me.
It felt like I belonged, too.
But then it was over — and I had to go back to my kennel. Back to waiting.
I know I’m not an easy boy. I know I need someone special. But I promise you, if you give me your heart, I’ll give you all of mine — every last little piece.
🐾 My Story
I used to live on a short chain when I was a tiny puppy. It hurt my neck and it hurt my heart. I was so scared.
When I was rescued, I thought my life had finally begun. I stayed in a foster yard for two long years… waiting.
Then, in November 2022, I travelled to the UK — I thought I’d found my forever family.
But it didn’t work out.
And now, here I am, waiting all over again…

I’m looking for my person. My safe place. My best friend. Someone patient, gentle, and kind — someone who’ll let me come to them when I’m ready, and love me just as I am.
I need:
✅ A calm, adult-only home
✅ Someone experienced with large breeds (Romanian Shepherd experience would be amazing)
✅ A quiet rural/semi-rural home
✅ A secure garden with grass to play on
✅ No other pets, please — I want to be your one and only
✅ Someone willing to come and meet me a few times so I can learn to trust you

Everyone who meets me falls in love. I bond deeply and quickly once I know I’m safe. I love walks, I love cuddles, and I’m even doing scent training … I’m really good at it, and it helps me stay calm.
But sometimes the world feels overwhelming. I don’t always understand other dogs, and I can get anxious if things move too fast. That’s why I need someone patient who’ll go slowly with me.
Keeping Me Safe
Please don’t be scared by my “rules” — they’re just here to keep me safe and happy:
🔹 I’m muzzle-trained and comfy wearing one — it’s my safety blanket
🔹 I must be walked on a double lead
🔹 When visitors come, I need my muzzle on or a quiet room to relax in
🔹 Outside the house, I must stay muzzled until we’ve built trust and you understand my triggers
I know I’m asking a lot.
I know I’m waiting for one in a million.
But somewhere out there, I believe you exist — the person who will finally see me.
Not my past. Not my worries. Just me.
