It’s with a heavy heart that I’m looking to rehome my male Alexandrine parrot, approximately 5 years old, due to a change in family circumstances.
He is a very friendly, hand-tame bird who enjoys human interaction and being part of daily life. He can say a few words including “hi”, “hello”, “peekaboo”, and “thank you”, and has a lovely personality.
I’m looking for an experienced home-ideally someone who understands the needs of Alexandrines and can give him the time, attention, and care he deserves. He thrives on interaction, so it’s important he goes to someone who can spend quality time with him.
He will come with his cage and food to help him settle into his new home.
This is not an easy decision, so finding the right home is my top priority.
