With incredibly heavy hearts, we have made the difficult decision to rehome our two much-loved miniature pinschers, Anna and Chester. They are both incredibly loving, affectionate little dogs who want nothing more than to be close to you, snuggled up on your lap and receiving all the love and attention they can get. 🩷 Anna – 8 years old A purebred miniature pinscher who is full of love and simply wants to be close to her human. 💙 Chester – 5 years old A miniature pinscher crossed with a Pomeranian. An affectionate little lap dog who loves nothing more than being with you and enjoying plenty of cuddles. 💔 Why are we rehoming them separately? Anna and Chester have developed a competitive relationship, which has resulted in some dominance-related behaviour and marking in the home. We feel they would both benefit from living in separate homes, where they can receive individual attention and have the opportunity to settle without that competition. We hope that separating them will help ease the marking, although we want to be honest that this cannot be guaranteed. We have decided that it wouldn't feel right to keep just one of them, so our decision is to find loving homes for both. ❤️ What sort of homes are we looking for? They are loving little dogs who thrive on companionship, cuddles and being close to their person. They genuinely just want to be loved and to spend time with you. They would suit someone who has the time, patience and understanding to help them settle into a new environment and give them the individual attention they deserve. 🐾 Anxiety episodes Both dogs have experienced occasional episodes that can look similar to seizures and last under one minute. We have previously sought veterinary advice and were told that these were anxiety-related and common within the breed. As the episodes are rare, we were advised that medication was not necessary at that time. We want to be completely open about this history so that any potential new owner is aware and can discuss it with their own vet. They benefit from calm reassurance and gentle support when stressed. 💉 Vaccinations & rehoming Neither Anna nor Chester is currently up to date with their vaccinations, as they have primarily been house dogs. We are not asking for any money. Our only priority is finding the right homes for them. We want to make sure they go to people who genuinely have the time, love and commitment to give them a happy and secure future.
