Description
Chance has had the most horrendous start in life and for this reason needs a very special home that will understand his needs and continue to show him patience and love.
From his foster family:-Chance loves going out for walks and walks well on the lead but sometimes he can be reactive to people and other dogs ( although this is getting much better)For safety, we muzzle him when he’s off-lead in the park. That said, he’s generally friendly—especially with people who have dogs—and loves to explore and run around. He has good recall and has a group of doggie friends that he meets up with in the park everyday.
He currently lives with a resident dog in his foster home and gets on brilliantly with her. We believe he would thrive in a home with another friendly , calm dog for companionship and confidence, though it’s not essential as he would love to have all the attention for himself.
At home, Chance is a total sweetheart. He’s incredibly loving, affectionate, and always nearby, ready to curl up next to you. His morning walks are followed by breakfast and a cosy nap.
Chance has a gaze that feels like he’s looking straight into your soul but what he is really asking for is a belly rub and as soon he knows that you’ve given in , he flops on his side. Once he bonds with you, you’ll have a loyal and devoted companion for life. He’s food-motivated, eager to please (his little spin when asked to sit is irresistible)curious about everything—he loves sniffing around and poking his nose into all the interesting corners of the world.
Chance needs a lot of love and someone who understands that he is nervous around new people. Slow , gentle introductions to build trust. He would need a few visits so that he can feel more comfortable and confident before he can leave with you.
We’ve grown incredibly fond of this darling boy and will miss him dearly when he finds his forever home. If you ever go on holiday or need a dog-sitter, we’d be more than happy to look after him again—it would be our pleasure.
If you’re ready to welcome a sweet, cheeky, and soulful companion into your life (complete with a tiny Mohawk and big heart), Chance might just be the one. 🐶❤️

His Story
Tragically, he’s spent his entire life in a cage with nothing to call his own and little hope for change. When we first met him, he was so terrified he wet himself. But with a little time, gentle words, and deep rubs, he began to relax, even leaning in to nuzzle our volunteer’s neck. We cried as we placed him back in his bleak cell, but we made a promise: we would come back for him.
